Welcome to the Modern Art/Visual Culture Wiki, a project begun by the 2006/2007 Honors Modern Art class and currently the work of the 2007/2008 Honors Modern Art students. Last year's students created the Timeline, wrote initial postings on major movements, as well as postings that addressed both fine art and visual culture issues. This year's class will work on editing and revising existing content as well as adding to the twentieth century sections. This wiki reflects student interests in modern art, design history, popular culture, and their developing expertise in researching and information literacy skills.
Like all wikis, this is a work in progress and some entries are more developed than others. The writing is the students’ own; it has been edited minimally.
